Sorry, friends. With my new job, I haven’t had the brain capacity to think about the midterm elections that are happening this Tuesday, November 8th. For state and congressional elections, it’s safe to just stick to the Dems (I mean, if you want CA to remain a place where women have abortion rights and teachers can teach Toni Morrison). The only thing I want to say is vote Nathan Fletcher for County Board of Supervisors, and not Amy Reichert, who’s one of those nutso ReOpen CA-ers.
For a good election guide, please check out San Diego journalist Doug Porter’s. His guide very much aligns with what I would say.
But if anyone has differing thoughts, or who just want to share who they voted for, or who knows literally anything about the judicial races, please put them in a response to this thread! I think we would all appreciate it. Thank you.

Ok, the local teachers Union is supporting Hazan and Peterson for school board. The board holds a lot more power than many people realize! Also, the state teachers Union has a list of people they endorse, so if you need any direction to lean, lean towards us teachers: https://www.cta.org/our-advocacy/election-2022
We use Doug too. Here’s our collaborative spreadsheet from about 20 friends and family: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1r3rwn2Z9F6FiqGDHFIA5ColaXkvUurJY3QhiTbXqBe0/edit

I strongly urge a No vote on Measure B. While everyone should pay equally for city trash and recycling, Measure B is not the answer.
I can share more info if any of you would like it.
Thanks so much for sharing Doug's voting guide! I used to love the Free Press!
