I agree with most on this post ITSELF for some of the claims made on celebrity skin. Courtney wasn't following record labels, she was following her dreams. She made that album because now she's finally "all she wants to be" basically pretty and polished; as said in celebrity skin. It's meant to be a sign that she's finally made it and a release of all that has happened in the past.
Thats why the tracks like northern star and reasons to be beautiful is on there, Its SUPPOSED to be sentimental, basically as a metaphor of releasing the bad energy shes had in her life
