Christmas Eve Eve might be one of my favorite days of the year. It’s the day when you look at whatever work you haven’t finished and say, “Well, see you next year.” It always feels like the last “real” day of the year, before our souls are laced with Christmas and New Years hysteria.
This Christmas Eve Eve—Thursday, the 23rd—I’m teaming up with my good friend Ryen Schlegel (co-host of the hyper-local Utah-based Youtube podcast/show, Polyester Blend) to present a virtual screening of Silent Night, Deadly Night 2. Low-presh, Covid safe hang-out!
Guys, this movie is wild. Don’t worry if you haven’t seen the first film. In fact, it’s probably better if you haven’t. Allow me to point you to this infamous “GARBAGE DAY!!!” clip to give you a taste of what kind of film this is.
The action is going down Thursday, 23rd on Ryen Schlegel’s Youtube around 10 pm (pst). Come hang out, learn a little about the movie (it actually has a pretty fascinating backstory), and chat along with fellow bad-movie fiends. Also, grab your favorite beverage because we’ll have drinking games, and maybe even some prize giveaways.
